These Keto Beef Sandwiches are Bomb!

Pork rinds.

We make our bread with delicious and rich pork rinds to give our sandwiches a full-bodied flavor. Low carb-flours just can't do that.

Ready to give pork rind buns a try? We've got a dead easy recipe to prove our point. All you need is a slow cooker and a little time. Don't have either? The buns work great in any sandwich-adjacent recipe.


  • 3 lbs trimmed chuck roast
  • 20 oz beef broth
  • 3 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup pepperoncini peppers


  1. Add all ingredients to your handy slow cooker.
  2. Cook on low for 6 hours.


  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup Southern Recipe's Salt and Pepper Pork Rinds, crushed
  • 1 tbsp baking powder


  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (204 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, microwave cream cheese and mozzarella cheese until melted.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients to the bowl of melted cheese. Stir well to combine into a dough.
  4. Form dough into 2-inch balls and place on a lined baking sheet. Leave plenty of room for dough expansion.
  5. Place the baking sheet into the pre-heated oven and bake for 12 minutes.
  6. Assemble your sandwich by adding the fully-cooked meat to the buns. Want some extra flare? Top with cheese. 😋
