To us, pork rinds are part of our tradition. It started out as a way to use up the whole pig but we couldn’t stop snackin. Generations later we’re still crunchin’ on the tasty, protein-packed snack.
It’s less complicated than it seems.
After careful inspection, we cure and smoke the pork skin. This process is what gives all our rinds that rich, smokehouse flavor.
We send the pellets through a machine to shake ‘em up and get ‘em separated.
Then they’re off to the fryer! A tad bit of moisture combined with the heat makes the pellets explode to 5x their normal size.
